Enzyme Therapy

Not your average facial...

DMK Enzyme Therapy is an advanced skin revision treatment designed to improve the health and function of the skin from within. Unlike traditional facials that focus primarily on the skin's surface, DMK Enzyme Therapy works with the skin's natural chemistry to encourage optimal cellular function, improve circulation, and support the skin's ability to repair itself.

Using a unique blend of transfer messenger enzymes, the treatment creates a tightening effect as the masque sets. This process is designed to stimulate circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage, and increase oxygenation within the skin, helping to nourish skin cells and support healthy skin function.

FAQ

What is Enzyme Therapy?

DMK Enzyme Therapy is a professional skin treatment that works with your skins natural process to support healthier, stronger, and more balanced skin. Unlike treatments that only focus on the surface, DMK Enzyme Therapy works at a deeper level, improving overall skin function and stopping skin concerns where they start.

A unique enzyme masque is applied to the skin, where it gradually tightens as it sets. During the treatment, many clients experience a gentle pulsing or tightening sensation. Once removed, the skin appears brighter, firmer, and more refreshes, with a temporary "plasmatic effect".

What does the treatment involve?

Your treatment includes the following steps:

  • Cleanse: Your skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oil, and impurities.
  • Targeted pre-exfoliation: A customised DMK pre-exfoliant is applied to prepare the skin and target your individual concerns, such as congestion, pigmentation, ageing, or uneven texture.
  • Enzyme masque: A bespoke DMK Enzyme Masque is then applied. As it sets, the masque hardens and creates a distinctive tightening sensation. This is a normal part of the treatment and reflects the masque's unique action as it works with the skin's natural processes.
  • Masque removal: After approximately 45 minutes, the masque is gently removed with water.
  • Transdermal infusion: The treatment is completed with a customised Transdermal Infusion, delivering active ingredients deep into the skin to support hydration, skin function, and long-lasting results.

Which level should I choose?

We offer four levels of DMK Enzyme Therapy, with each level building on the previous one to provide a more advanced treatment experience.

Level 1 is the perfect starting point for anyone new to DMK Enzyme Therapy and is suitable for all skin types. It allows us to assess your skin and begin your skin revision journey safely and effectively.

If you've had DMK Enzyme Therapy before, Level 2 or Level 3 may be more suitable, depending on your skin's condition, treatment history, and goals. These higher levels incorporate more advanced treatment protocols to further enhance your results.

If you're unsure which level to book, we recommend starting with Level 1 or contacting us for advice. During your appointment, your therapist will assess your skin and recommend the most appropriate enzyme level for future treatments to ensure you achieve the best possible results.

What is the plasmatic effect?

The plasmatic effect is the distinctive network of fine, visible lines that appears on the skin after a DMK Enzyme Therapy treatment. It is created as the enzyme masque hardens and works with the skin's natural processes to encourage healthy circulation and support optimal skin function.

The appearance of the plasmatic effect varies from person to person and can differ between treatments. Factors such as your skin's condition, hydration, and circulation all influence how visible it is. Some clients develop a very defined pattern, while others experience a more subtle effect—both are completely normal.

The plasmatic effect is temporary and typically fades within 10–20 minutes after the masque is removed.
