What is Laser Genesis?

Laser Genesis is a breakthrough non-ablative laser treatment that stimulates the skins natural processes to diminish the signs of aging and sun damage, and promote vibrant, healthy-looking complexion with no downtime.

How does it work?

Micro-pulses of laser energy are gently delivered into the skin which stimulates the body’s own processes to active collagen remodelling to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and unwanted brown spots. To help address redness in the skin, we target the excess micro vessels. 

What does it feel like?

You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the treatment that feels like warm raindrops onto the skin. Clients often find it quite relaxing and therapeutic. 

What areas can be treated?

Laser Genesis is great for all areas of the body especially focusing on the areas where there are noticeable signs of sun damage, aging, redness, mild wrinkles and scarring.

How many treatments are required?

We recommend a course of 4-6 treatments of Laser Genesis for an optimal result. Results will continue to show months after the treatment is performed but to sustain results long term, we encourage ongoing maintenance of treatments. 

What are the possible side effects?

As the Laser Genesis is a non-invasive treatment, most clients may only notice a slight redness immediately after treatment and should resolve back to its normal colour within a few hours. 

Is there any downtime with the treatment?

After the treatment has been performed, you are able to apply sunscreen and make up straight away and do your normal daily activities immediately.

Excel V+ is a fast and easy way to treat visible veins, discolouration and wrinkles within the skin. It is the most advanced aesthetic laser technology, combining two powerfully precise lasers to target and eliminate unwanted reds, browns, purples and blues on the face and body.

How does Excel V+ work?

Your treatment provider will select one of the excel V+’s two lasers and customise the treatment settings to target the colour and depth of your skin concern. Most treatments are finished in just a few minutes!

What does it feel like?

Excel V+ can feel similar to a quick rubber band snap against your skin. Depending on the treatment and area being treated, it can feel slightly different depending on the concern and degree of concern. The laser has a cooling tip on the end which will be in contact with the skin, this allows it to be more comfortable for the client. 

What areas can be treated and how long does it take to perform?

Areas of the face and body with concerns of the common skin concerns. The treatment usually will only take around 10 minutes and for larger areas being treated, it can take up to 30 minutes.

How many treatments are required?

With Excel V+, most skin concerns require only one to two treatments to achieve results. However, the number of treatments may vary depend on the condition we are treating and depth of the concern.

What are the possible side effects?

Redness and/or swelling can be expected following the treatment being performed. The swelling for a full face treatment can be expected to peak around 24-48 hours post treatment and usually resolves back to normal within a few days. 

Is there any downtime with the treatment?

Typically, you can wear make up and return to normal activities immediately. 

Treated brown spots will darken following the treatment and slough off within 3-5 days.
